2)  How do I review and change my email, password, security question, or security question answer?

Sign in to your account and click on the "My Account" icon at the top of the page or click here. This page will allow you to review and change your email, password, and security question/answer.

3)  How do I import data? (Data can be imported from Shoeboxed, or prior year returns filed with OnePriceTaxes or TurboTax)

Sign in to your account, and click on the Basic Info tab on the OnePriceTaxes site, then select Import and select the type of information you'd like to import and follow the instructions accordingly.

4)  I made an error on my return, but it's already been e-filed. Can I make changes to my return after it's been e-filed?

Changes cannot be made to a return once it has been e-filed and accepted by the IRS. In the event that there was an error on your e-filed return, you will need to file an amended return by completing IRS Form 1040X and mailing it to the IRS with supporting documentation as required. The IRS does not support electronic preparation of Form 1040X at this time.

5)  How do I view and print my return from previous years filed with One Price Taxes?
How do I print out a copy of my current year return that has been e-filed?

To access prior year returns and/or a current year return that has already been filed, users should sign into One Price Taxes and go to their account, by either clicking on the "My Account" icon at the top of the page, or by clicking on this link: My Account. Click on the "Downloads" link and your available returns will be listed. Simply click on the return you'd like to print and/or save.

6)  I live in one state but work in another (or have state income in more than one state). Can I file state taxes in a state other than where I live with your system?

Unfortunately, One Price Taxes does not support multi-state income at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

7)  I filled out all of my information, but I left the site and came back and none of it was saved. Can you help me with this?

Unfortunately, if you don't click "Save" in the top center of the screen before leaving our site, your information is not saved for later. We are working on having automatic saving implemented, but that won't be up and going for some time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

8)  My return was rejected by the IRS for AGI and/or PIN issues. How do I get a new PIN and/or verify my prior year AGI?

Call the IRS to verify your prior year AGI and/or your prior year PIN It's quick and easy to verify your prior year AGI and prior year PIN with the IRS. Simply call 1-800-829-1040 to speak to an agent to verify your prior year AGI and prior year PIN.
Be sure to have your prior year return handy as you may be asked to verify information found on that return.

Get your PIN in 60 seconds or less

It's quick and it's easy click here and go to this IRS website or call their automated number 1-866-704-7388.
The IRS will ask for a few bits of information to verify your identity. In exchange, you'll receive your 5-digit PIN so you can e-file your 2011 return.
Your assigned PIN, which cannot be changed, is good through mid-October of 2012; no need to write it down for next year.
And finally don't forget to also get a PIN for your spouse if you're filing a joint return!

My new PIN from the IRS keeps getting rejected, what do I do?
  • Verify your PIN by requesting it again. Maybe you entered it wrong or wrote it down incorrectly?
  • If you're positive that your PIN is correct, try the AGI verification method.
  • Call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040 to talk to an agent. They can verify the 2010 filing information you need to get a valid PIN.
  • Instead of e-filing, consider filing your return by mail.
9)  How do I reset my password?
If you've forgotten your password, go to our Forgot Password Page. Enter the email address you signed up with and the Captcha phrase shown, and hit SUBMIT. An email containing a security code will now be sent to your email. On the next screen enter the security code that was sent to your email and the answer to the security question you set up when you created your account at onepricetaxes.com, and a new password.

Note: If you enter the security code that was sent to you and get the message "the security code you entered is not valid," it means the security code has expired. Go back to the Forgot Password Page and follow the instructions to get a new security code sent to your email.

If you've forgotten the answer to your security question, please email onepricehelp@onepricetaxes.com for guidance on resetting your password.
