How do I import data from Etsy, Outright and Shoeboxed?
OnePriceTaxes has partnered with Etsy, Outright and Shoeboxed to help get your taxes done quickly and efficiently. One you've created an account with us, sign in and select the Basic Info tab in the navigation bar, and then click the Import link. On the Import Data page, check the appropriate boxes and then select the Continue button at the bottom.
You will need your username and password for these accounts. Follow the steps and your financial data will automatically upload to your Schedule C, saving you the time and effort of having to do this by hand.
Can you import my OnePriceTaxes return from last year?
Yes! If you filed a tax return last year using OnePriceTaxes, just sign in to your account and select the Basic Info tab in the navigation bar, and then click the Import link. Once the Import Data page loads, check the first box and select the Continue button at the bottom.
Can I import last year's return from another tax company?
If you filed your federal taxes with TurboTax last year and downloaded a PDF copy of your completed return, you can import that file directly into OnePriceTaxes. Just sign in to your account, select the Basic Info tab, and then click the Import link.
Next, check the TurboTax box, continue to the next page, and then choose your PDF file to upload, and that's it. You'll have a nice head start on this year's taxes!
How do I save my return and finish it later?
OnePriceTaxes automatically saves your work on your tax return at various points during the process. But it's always a good idea to click the Save Return icon, located at the top of the page, whenever you need to take a break and step away, or when you sign out and turn off your computer.
How do I change my email, password or security question?
Changing your email and security information is easy. Just sign in to your account, click on the My Account icon at the top of the page, and then select the item you'd like to update. Please note the following:
Your email address will be used to send you tax return acceptance and rejection notices, and for responses to any questions you've asked. Be sure to enter an email address that you check regularly.
To reset your password, click the Forgot password link in the login box. Enter your email address you used when you created your account, type the Captcha phrase, and then hit Submit. Keep this window open. Next, check your email and paste the security code we sent into the green box, and answer your security question. Be sure your new password is at least eight characters long, type it again, and that's that. You're done!
How do I download and print a copy of my filed tax returns?
Just sign in to your account, click on the My Account icon at the top of the page, and then click on the Downloads link. Your available returns from previous tax years will be listed on this page. Simply select the return you'd like to download or print.
Your return will download as a PDF file. Most computers have a PDF reader already installed, but if yours doesn't, you'll want to install Adobe Reader. It's free and shouldn't take more than a few quick moments.

Which states do you support for e-filing?
Yes! We currently support all states for e-filing.
Why do I need last year's AGI and PIN? How do I get them?
Before you can submit your e-filed tax return, the IRS needs to verify your identity. You can do this by obtaining your AGI or the PIN from the previous year's tax return.
But what if you don't know your AGI or PIN? No problem! To obtain your AGI, you can call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040, or you can save yourself the hassle and just get a new PIN. You have two easy options to obtain a new PIN: Call the IRS's automated number at 1-866-704-7388, or complete their online PIN form.
You'll be asked some information to verify your identify, and then you'll be given a five-digit PIN. Write it down. You need it to e-file your taxes. And remember: If you're married and filing a joint return, you'll need to obtain a PIN for your spouse, too!
Why does my new PIN from the IRS keep getting rejected?
First, double check and make sure you entered your PIN correctly. If you're still having problems, you can use your AGI from last year's tax return and verify your identify that way. But if you can't find your AGI, you need to call the IRS and speak to an agent.
The IRS can be reached at 1-800-829-1040. If you're unable to resolve the PIN issue and can't obtain your AGI, you'll have to file a paper return instead.
When will I get my refund? How can I check the status?
You can call the IRS Refund Hotline at 1-800-829-1954 to check on your refund status. But your best bet is to visit the Where's My Refund? page on the IRS website. They have a nifty Refund Status tool that's easy to use. Just enter your Social Security Number, filing status, and the exact amount of your refund, and you'll be able to get daily updates.
Some states don't have an online refund status tool, but they may have a refund hotline. We've put together a list of website links to help you learn more about your state refund. You'll find this list on our State Taxes Information page.
For more information on refunds, please see Your Tax Refund in our Help Center.
Can I make changes to my return once it has been e-filed?
We take great care in the preparation of your OnePriceTaxes return, but should you determine that an error has been made after you've already e-filed, you'll need to file an amended return by completing IRS Form 1040X.
Currently the IRS does not support e-filing for this form, so you will have to mail this form to them, along with any required supporting documentation.
How do I file a tax extension? What's the deadline?
Should you need more time to file your federal tax return and pay your taxes, don't fret. You have three options: Complete and mail IRS Form 4868 by the April 15 deadline; file for an extension of time electronically; or pay at least $1 of your estimated tax through an approved online payment system.
Each of these methods will automatically extend your filing deadline by six months. But keep in mind that this does not extend your payment deadline. Try to pay as much as you can by April 15 to minimize penalties and interest.
At this point in time, OnePriceTaxes doesn't support Form 4868, but when you're ready you can file your federal tax return with us. The IRS gives you until October 15.
